Tea Set Inspired by Kristen Kieffer 

 

 

   

 

Kristen Kieffer is a ceramic artist who created pottery that brings elegance and sohpicstication to the everyday. What drew me to her was his elegance of her "Pouring Vessels" and simplicity of her form. For this project i wanted to create a simple form but have intricate design. Ms.Kieffer inspires me to create  create a tea set that is simple. I wanted to challenge myself with how neat I could get the form and design. My tea set was also inspired by the region England. Tea there is an everyday occasion and necessity. I feel like Kristen Kieffer has ceramic pieces that fit the England persona with her touch of elegance. I love her detail that she adds to form of her pottery brings it character and definetly defines the piece.
