Judy Nelson Moore
I found Judy through her house gallery pieces. I liked her use of color and architecture and use of the form of a house as a base. To include the fairy tale aspect I creates coils to mock vines and carved in spirals and swirls also to mock vines and add to the detail. I liked how she had a bird on the roof of one piece and kept the roof of my house open and created a bird in a nest also adding to the fairy tale theme. My own touch is the form of the project which isn’t seen as “wobbly” or look like it’s moving, I kept my form clean and leveled, plus I made my project functional as a shelf which can also hang.
